Tandem Mobi Insulin Pump Data Sonification and Visualization

The research team is designing a sonification and visualization system for historical (3 months) CGM and pump data, intended to be utilized at quarterly endocrinology visits as part of the data review process. Their hope is that the display can provide insight into the data that is not revealed so easily through Tandem’s visualization options. This project is funded by a CAMD Creative Seed Grant.

Improving Rural Health Access with Knox’s Mobile Clinic Project Presentation

Over the past three years, this interdisciplinary research team composed of collaborators from experience/service design, public health, nursing, architecture, and communication has been partnering with a nonprofit clinic in rural Maine to identify, design, prototype, and evaluate innovative models of rural, community-based care through a participatory research approach. In this presentation, they will share their progress in addressing health inequities and access in rural areas through the design and implementation of a mobile healthcare van, as well as other operational and systemic interventions such as blueprints and frameworks to help healthcare providers replicate alternative ways to healthcare delivery.
